EcoPortal is an online community for EcoAustralia.

Who is EcoAustralia for?
EcoAustralia is a community bringing together eco-minded writers, bloggers, activists, web designers and other online content producers. Our aim is to share knowledge, and collaborate to help promote sustainability online.

Where is EcoAustralia?
The EcoAustralia community is hosted on a website called EcoPortal. We also have a Facebook group. Physically, we are in Sydney and Melbourne – and wherever you are too!

What is EcoAustralia for?
a) initially, to discuss how to develop EcoAustralia
c) to encourage community members to contribute to sites in the EcoAustralia network.

What’s the long-term vision?
It’s up to you! Sites in the network could eventually be merged into one super-site, or could remain separate entities, with EcoAustralia community members contributing content and skills to all sites in the network. The EcoAustralia community itself could become a broad community site for all Australians or remain a more focused discussion space for people interested in developing the EcoAustralia network.

Can our website join the EcoAustralia network?
We are looking for more sites that complement rather than duplicate these existing sites, are open to collaborative input and are not primarily commercial sites. Sites joining the network will be encouraged to gradually eliminate duplication of content, developing their core area and linking to other sites in the network. Members of the EcoAustralia community will be encouraged to contribute to all sites in the network.
